JOHNSON,  Deacon Ilittle  ( Ford ), age 81, of Jefferson Township, OH, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 22, 2012 following a lengthy illness. Proprietor of Johnson’s Market in several locations. Preceded in death by his parents, Isaiah & Belzora Johnson brothers, Paul & Silus Johnson sisters, Zedlee Bradley & Leva Johnson. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Bishop Dorothy E. Johnson daughter, Julie Hill 5 brothers, Barnabus (Ordale), Rev. Samuel, A.V., Aaron & Namon (Maddie) Johnson 3 sisters, Cleavy Bradley, Mary (Joseph) Carter & Martha Wadlow 2 Godsons, Willie “Shagg” Parson & Timothy Whitlow a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 1 pm Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at New Philadelphia Baptist Church, 120 South James H. McGee Blvd. Rev. Samuel Johnson of New Trinity Baptist Church, Akron, OH officiating. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visitation 10 am Tuesday at the church until the time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Arrangements entrusted to the HOUSE OF WHEAT Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 North Gettysburg Avenue.
