HITCHCOCK, Mr. Gulbransen B., age 81, of Dayton, passed away Friday, April 25, 2008 at Grandview Hospital. A native of Athens, Georgia and a resident of Dayton for over 52 years. A retired employee of Harrison Radiator, a division of General Motors, after 32 years of service. Preceded in death by his parents, Zack & Anna (Hill) Hitchcock; son, Bryant Jr. He was a devoted & loving father and leaves his children to cherish his memory, 1 daughter, Mildred (Donald) Hill; 2 sons, Stanley & Jerome Hitchcock; 1 grandson, Stephone B. Taylor; sisters, Nancy Boggs, of Royston, GA, Lizzie Hitchcock, Zula McClurkins; 1 brother, Samuel Hitchcock, all of Dayton; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Thursday, May 1, 2008 at the HOUSE OF WHEAT Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 North Gettysburg Avenue. Rev. Andre Hayes officiating. Interment West Memory Gardens.
