HOSKINS, Ms. Doris A., age 45, a lifelong resident of Dayton, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton. Doris attended Dayton Public Schools and was a graduate of Kiser High School. She was formerly employed at Sears and Mail of Dayton, Inc. Preceded in death by her mother, Dessa R. Hoskins-Goodson; father, Melvin Sims; stepfather, William Goodson; maternal grandparents, Annie & Joe Hinton; paternal grandparents, Hattie Bell & Leroy Sims, Sr., Robert & Eloise Turner. She leaves to cherish her memory 2 daughters, Tyecia Hoskins & Dashua Ellis; 5 sons, Jeris & Bryant Hoskins, Cory & Cordell Mitchell, Jr., Michael Ellis III; 3 grandchildren, Ja’Quenna Hoskins, Cory & Correyon Mitchell; 1 sister, Tawuana Hoskins; 2 brothers, Frederick (Pamela) Hoskins, Iyon Sr. (Sherron) Hoskins; special cousins, Deborah Shaw, Lisa Perkins & Michael Rodgers; 2 aunts, Rose & Lillie Hoskins; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 1 pm Friday, March 21, 2008 at the HOUSE OF WHEAT Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 North Gettysburg Avenue. Rev. Leamon Long officiating. Visitation 10 am Friday at the funeral home until the time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Final disposition cremation.
