YOW, Ms. LaShawna Denise, age 38, a native of Dayton, departed this life unexpectedly Tuesday, January 8, 2008. She attended Carousel School of Cosmetology, an employee of the Waldorf Lodge #76 for 8 years, and a Daughter of Royal Temple #41. Preceded in death by her daughter, Diamond Adams-Yow; children’s father, Michael “Punchie”; father, William H. Hill; maternal and paternal grandparents. Survivors include her mother, Jerelene; fiancé, Gregory DeBrill; daughter, MaLika (Anthony); granddaughter, MaKayla; son, Donovan; sister, Tomika; stepchildren, Janay & Darris DeBrill; special nephew, Kamari; brothers, William Morrow, Bruce & Steven White; paternal uncle, Charles White; aunts, Erma & Helen Yow; cousins, Christopher Yow, Curon Thompson & Tierra Roberson, all of Dayton, Krista (Mark) & Tai’sha Walker, Thomas IV of Indianapolis, IN, Darryl Yow of Lima, OH, Martina Yow, Tobby, Tae’a & Trey Allen of Sacramento, CA; uncle, Eugene Yow of Bellevue, KY; special friend, Tasha Stevens; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at the HOUSE OF WHEAT Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 North Gettysburg Avenue. Bishop Michael Barringer officiating.
